Biography

Ingi Helgason is a lecturer in the Applied Informatics subject group and a member of the Centre for Creative and Social Informatics. Research interests include; digital storytelling and narrative, creativity, interacting with archives and exhibitions, design for immersive experiences, and speculative and critical design.
Ingi has worked as a researcher on projects including:
Creative Informatics, funded by the Creative Industries Clusters Programme and managed by the AHRC as part of the UK Industrial Strategy.
SpeculativeEdu, an educational project funded by ERASMUS+, the European Union programme for education, training, youth, and sport.
The ENSEMBLE project funded by the AHRC’s call for the Next Generation of Immersive Experiences.
European Commission research projects in the H2020, FP7 and FP6 frameworks.
