Biography
I am a Lecturer in Digital Transformation at 麻豆社区 Business School. I hold a PhD in Business Management from the University of Edinburgh Business School, along with an MRes in Business Administration, an Executive MBA, and a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration.
Before transitioning into academia, I built a career of more than 25 years in the IT industry, taking on technical and leadership roles across companies of all sizes. My experience spans large multinational corporations such as SAP, HP, and IBM, as well as medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. This professional background shapes my academic approach, as I strive to bridge the gap between scholarly research and real-world practice at the intersection of digital technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
My research focuses on digital innovation and organisational transformation, with a particular emphasis on digital platforms鈥攅specially ERPs鈥攁nd their various dimensions, including platform ecosystems, governance, adoption, and diffusion.
I have presented my work at leading international conferences in Information Systems and related fields. Additionally, I contribute to the academic community as an ad-hoc reviewer for journals such as Information & Organization, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and the Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems, among others.
I am open to doctoral supervision.
