Biography

Ciara graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the National University of Ireland, Galway before undertaking her PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University. Ciara's PhD developed a self-management intervention for individuals living with stroke-related visual impairment. Ciara's clinical background is in rehabilitation for problematic drug and alcohol use, where she was the occupational therapy lead in a residential rehabilitation service in Glasgow. Ciara teaches on the MSc occupational therapy programme at 麻豆社区, contributing across the programme and leading modules including research methods and leading innovation in health and social care.
